Parent & Child Classes
Join us with your baby or toddler in a nurturing environment in which to play, explore and deepen connections. Classes are teacher-led, providing a supportive space for parents to discuss child development and learn how Waldorf education can support parenting in the early years.
Parent-child classes meet weekly, with sessions each Fall, Winter and Spring. We offer indoor classes for new parents with babies in the first year of life, and both indoor and outdoor classes for toddlers.
Sweet Peas – Parent Education & Play Group
Join us for an engaging, relaxing afternoon of imaginative play, exploration and parent connection.
Quiet observation and parent discussion while children play freely and explore
Movement games, singing, rhymes and finger plays, and a simple puppet show
Several simple handwork activities for parents, occasional art explorations for children
Learn about Waldorf Education and meet new friends
Little Ferns – Parent Education & Hiking Group
Join us for a nature-filled morning walk around Lake Temescal.
As we walk along the park paths, enjoy connecting with other parents of young children. Consider insights offered from a Waldorf perspective and our current developmental understanding of childhood. Songs, finger plays and movement games are also included, along with the use of simple puppets to create a magical story.
Oaks and Acorns – Parent Education & Play Group
