Student Support Services
At Berkeley Rose Waldorf School, we celebrate the wide diversity of our students, both academically and socially. We strive to create an environment of inclusivity in which both the strengths and challenges of each student are honored and supported.

Our Learning Support Program works in a collaborative way to be proactive in identifying student’s needs, creating a supportive plan, and monitoring progress. Although we are not a school specifically designed to support students with significant learning differences or social-emotional challenges that require specialized assistance or a highly modified curriculum, t he services we do provide for students, teachers, and families may include the following:
Collaborating with teachers, other specialists, and administrators
Conducting classroom observations

Class wide assessments in Rising First Grade, Second Grade, Fifth Grade, and Seventh Grade annually.

Consulting with teachers to develop classroom accommodations recommended for students
Assisting teachers with curriculum development that is inclusive and helps support a differentiated learning environment
