Karen Cevallos

Karen Cevallos is a retired public school teacher with 38 years of experience in the West Contra Costa Unified School District. She holds a Multiple Subject Credential and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from UC Berkeley.

Throughout her career, Karen has been dedicated to creating equity in educational opportunities for students from disadvantaged communities, with a particular focus on diversifying instruction to meet individual needs.

While she has taught a wide range of subjects from Kindergarten through 8th grade, she is especially passionate about the development of mathematical thinking in students from grade 4 through grade 8.
