Kansas Waugh

Kansas is, indeed, from the sunflower state of Kansas. He graduated from Reed College and Columbia University with degrees in Classics and Architectural Preservation.

For the past 13 years, he has worked in the New Mobility industry, primarily focusing on expanding the use of bicycles. He has directed business development and operations for bicycle-sharing systems in Chicago and the Bay Area and currently leads operations for the e-bike retailer The New Wheel.

Kansas has three children, including a son in Rosebuds this year. He currently chairs the Fundraising Committee and is honored to serve on the BRWS board. He looks forward to working with and for the community.
