Julianna Alcantar

Julianna is new to the Bay Area and is originally from San Diego. Her daughter is the inspiration behind her desire to pursue a career in early childhood.

She is very passionate about Steiner pedagogy and is currently enrolled in the Lifeways Early Childhood Certificate program in Marin. She is also a student at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California in their Practical Arts Training program.

Her current favorite activities include knitting, going on nature walks, beach combing, and experimenting with natural dyes and pigments. This will be her first year as the After School Nursery Lead, and Julianna couldn’t be more ecstatic about being part of the Berkeley Rose community.
