Gabrielle’s introduction to Waldorf education began at age four when she entered the Sacramento Waldorf School in Fair Oaks, California, and culminated with her graduation from the SWS high school. Waldorf’s wide breadth of experiences inspired her to pursue an education in design and the fine arts at California College of the Arts.

After completing her studies, she briefly taught art to elementary school students before taking a position at Berkeley’s renowned Chez Panisse restaurant. There, she currently holds the position of Business Manager, overseeing daily operations, accounting and finance, human relations, and office staff management. She is fondly referred to as the “big boss.”

Gabrielle’s goal for Berkeley Rose is the development of a strong footing in its new location and a solid relationship with the surrounding community. She aspires to heighten public awareness of the immense value of an education that combines a broad exposure to the arts with unrivaled academic rigor—a philosophy that is uniquely a part of the Berkeley Rose Waldorf School.
