Acclaimed Cellist Christoph Wagner visits Berkeley Rose

  |||  Our school was blessed with a stellar performance by critically-acclaimed cellist Christoph Wagner and his piano accompanist Dr Joanne Kong. Our students and faculty were enraptured as Mr Wagner and Dr Kong led us through several moving pieces by Strauss and Schumann.

The duo finished their time with us by leading our own group of cellists through a series of activities and instruction. We were grateful to have such a master lead and inspire them.
Critically-acclaimed cellist Christoph Wagner comes from a Waldorf family in Southern Germany. After attending the local Waldorf kindergarten, he completed grade 1-13 at the Waldorf School in his hometown of Karlsruhe. Christoph is passionate about visiting Waldorf Schools in the US and supporting their music programs. In fact, his mother attended the very first Waldorf school in Stuttgart!

For your own enjoyment, listen here to their recitals and see if you, too, are moved by their talent.
