After School Program 2024-25

Berkeley Rose offers an After School Program for children 3 years old through grade 5 until 5pm (or 5:30pm depending on the program) Monday-Friday. In order for your child to take part in this program, they must be enrolled via our sign up forms. You can also sign-up Kindergarten or Grades children on the day, if there is space available. Please note that these programs are contingent upon ample enrollment and incur a separate fee, as detailed below.

Nursery – Pick up times for the Nursery program are set, unless you have specified a predetermined hour . You may pick up your child at 3pm, 4pm or 5pm or after rest time, which ends at 2:30pm.

Kindergarten – Pick up times for the Kindergarten program are set. You may pick up your child at 3pm, 4pm or 5pm. 

Grades – Grades students can be picked up any time from 3-5:30pm.

Subscription Pricing

After School Program Subscription Pricing is charged month-to-month. Hourly rates range from ~$10.50 for Grades 1-5 and $10.50 – $12.00 for Nursery and Kindergarten. Available start or end times: the beginning or end of each calendar month, depending on availability.

  • The ten payment months run from September through June and will be paid directly through FACTS. 

  • The subscription price is based on individual pick up times chosen. For specific rates see chart below.
  • The subscription pricing is independent of actual usage and does not vary for longer or shorter months (i.e. for months with more or fewer school days). 

  • There will be the same flat charge for each subscribed calendar month.

There is a complimentary 30 minutes of after school care for Grade 1 and Grade 2 from 2:30pm to 3pm.

Drop-in Pricing

Joining the After School Program on a daily basis is possible, if requested by 10 am, but is subject to availability, and costs $18 per hour, or any portion thereof (non prorated) and will be billed through FACTS the month after. 

  • Regular usage on selected weekdays can be scheduled in advance on a month-to-month basis, and will be charged at the daily drop-in rate.

  • You may set up your initial schedule by emailing us your schedule.

  • There is no After School drop-in available for nursery children.

If you need an arrangement – not covered by the above scenarios – that may warrant a custom quote (for example: paying a lump sum for a full year of aftercare), please contact us.

Enrichment programs for Grades (subject to availability):

Our Extended Day Program offers an engaging environment that often includes specialty classes and activities that might include: handwork, chess and math clubs, chamber orchestra, choir, dance, games, cooking and hiking. These programs may come with an additional surcharge.

Camps

Berkeley Rose will not be offering camps during the 2023/24 school year.
