Welcome to our Staff Calendar
This is a shared place where the activities of our school life come together. Here you'll find all of our calendars gathered in one place, as well as a way to submit events to be displayed on the calendar.
By subscribing to a calendar, it will appear on your phone or computer and update automatically, so you can stay connected without needing to return here.
To submit a new event, select the "Submit/edit an event" button (above) and fill out the form. You'll receive a confirmation once your event is on the calendar. If you need to change or cancel an event, please use the same form.
How to subscribe
While logged in on desktop to your berkeleyrose.org email, simply click the Subscribe button next to any calendar you'd like to follow. You will be asked to confirm (just say yes).
Once subscribed, events will appear in your personal calendar, and any changes we make will quietly update for you.
All staff should subscribe to the Academic Calendar, Cultural & Family Observances, and Staff & Operations calendars — click Subscribe on each and confirm. From there, you are welcome to subscribe to others that support your work or help you stay connected to the broader life of the school.
We recommend subscribing to calendars individually — each appears in its own color, so you can toggle them on and off and see only what you need. If you'd rather keep things simple, the All Calendars feed at the bottom of this page brings everything into one subscription: Academic, Events & Festivals, Field Trips, Admissions & Tours, Staff & Operations, Safety Drills, Cultural & Family Observances, and Parent-Child.
Even when a calendar does not directly touch your daily work, it can offer a helpful window into the unfolding of school life and support thoughtful planning.

Academic Calendar
The official school schedule and key dates that impact all families and staff — first and last days of school, holidays, breaks, school closures, and early dismissals.
Events & Festivals
Community gatherings and experiences including festivals, assemblies, parent nights, talks, and seasonal celebrations.
Cultural & Family Observances
Religious and cultural holidays not necessarily formally observed by the school, listed so staff can be sensitive to families who celebrate them and avoid scheduling conflicts.
Field Trips
All off-campus student activities including class field trips, outdoor days, and excursions.
Staff & Operations
Internal staff coordination — meetings, professional development, in-service days, workdays, and planning. Board meetings are also here.
Admissions & Tours
School tours, prospective family visits, shadow days, and admissions meetings.
Photo Moments
Picture-worthy classroom and school moments — baking, painting, handwork, seasonal work, outdoor experiences, and festival preparation. Teachers contribute; admin or volunteers capture.
Staff Birthdays
A cheerful reminder of staff birthdays throughout the year, so we can celebrate each member of our community.
