ABOUT THE ROLE

The Administrative Coordinator is an integral member of the life of the School. They provide day-to-day support to parents, students, administration and faculty. They are a helpful presence to everyone interacting with Berkeley Rose and an important voice in how we organize and manage the information and systems that our school relies upon.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This is a Full time salaried position (exempt). Annual salary range of $67,000-$71,000. First Grade Class Teacher for 26-27

ABOUT THE ROLE

Berkeley Rose is welcoming applications for a full-time first grade class teacher for the 2026/27 academic year. Successful candidates will enthusiastically engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues and the parent community to create an educational environment aligned with Waldorf pedagogy, our school mission and program goals. The ideal candidates will be certified Waldorf teachers, have experience working with children and be committed to collegial work and self-development. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Full time position. Benefits offered include health insurance (medical, vision, dental), tuition remission, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
Current class teacher salary is $67 - 71K annually.

Early Childhood Substitute Teachers

Berkeley Rose is seeking loving and enthusiastic Nursery and Kindergarten teacher substitutes. We welcome applications from those with an interest in Waldorf education and early childhood education, who enjoy working with young children, and have morning or afternoon availability at short notice.

Early Childhood credits are preferable for Nursery but not required for substitutes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly rate is $30/hour.

Grades Substitute Teachers

Berkeley Rose is welcoming applications for on-call substitute class teachers. The ideal candidates will be certified Waldorf teachers or credentialed or experienced elementary school teachers and/or be actively engaged in Waldorf Training. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly rate $30/hour, which includes any preparation required for the on-call assignment.
