Songs for Peace

||| On Tuesday, March 15, we were very honored to welcome Erin Lashnits Herman (mama to Ada, Gr 3, and June, Sunflower) as well as Briget Boyle. Both women are singers and members of the choral group Kitka, which specializes in Eastern European vocal work. They brought to our campus a special morning assembly, performing traditional songs from Ukraine and then from Russia. This was a moving gesture of peace for that part of the world during this very difficult time.
